What is the saddest thing about a class reunion?

It's not that no one shows up, but that once they do, they can't go back.
6 men, 2 women, dinner, KTV, internet cafes. The brothers I used to game with, now they don't even know how to buy a gun.
After searching the map for 40 minutes and playing for a while, I kept getting calls urging me to go home.
In the end, only one person was left, sitting in the internet cafe. That feeling was really tough.
I realized that time really changes people.
The people I used to skip class with, play games with, and boast with—
now we talk about mortgage payments, kids, and wives urging us to go home.
It's not that feelings have faded, but that life has become heavier.
At 32-33 years old, it's the most complicated age of life.
Having elderly parents on one side and young children on the other, career climbing, health declining.
Before the reunion, I talked to my family, but the calls still kept coming.
It's not that my wife is unreasonable, but that the family truly needs you.
Brotherhood is important, but family responsibilities are even more so.
This isn't betrayal; it's growth.
Many people say, "Reunions should be fun, don’t worry about home."
Nonsense.
People who actually do that come home to a big argument.
After the argument, brothers drift apart, and the family falls apart.
In the adult world, there’s no such thing as doing whatever you want.
Only weighing the pros and cons, then choosing the option with the least loss.
What is the true meaning of a class reunion?
It’s not about reliving old memories, but about confirming that we’re still here.
Just a glance to know everyone is alive and doing okay.
A few words to understand what everyone is busy with and if they’re facing difficulties.
That’s enough.
Don’t expect to go back to high school overnight.
If you can’t go back, don’t force it.
