JPMorgan Chase is facing a class action lawsuit alleging that it aided and abetted a cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme involving $328 million. The lawsuit claims the bank provided critical banking infrastructure through its accounts to fraudulent entity Goliath Ventures and its Chief Executive Officer Christopher Delgado between 2023 and 2025. Despite JPMorgan Chase Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon's repeated public criticism of Bitcoin and warnings about its risks, the complaint states that the bank had already detected "red flags" through its internal monitoring software, including unusual fund flows, commingling of new and existing investor funds, and illegal misappropriation of assets, yet still processed over $250 million in related deposits.
