PPL Electric Utilities has proposed a new settlement that would lead to a smaller rate increase than initially requested. Residential customers using 1,000 kWh per month would see an increase of about $7.42, instead of $13. The new proposal seeks a $275 million increase in annual base distribution revenues, significantly less than the original $356 million.
