Equifax, Inc. (NYSE:EFX) Short Interest Up 47.7% in February
Equifax (NYSE:EFX) experienced a significant 47.7% increase in short interest during February, reaching 5,345,609 shares as of February 13th. This represents approximately 4.5% of the company’s shares sold short, with a days-to-cover ratio of 1.7. Despite the rise in short interest, Equifax reported strong quarterly earnings, beating expectations with an EPS of $2.09 and revenue of $1.55 billion, and also raised its quarterly dividend to $0.56.
