Foreign media: Israeli forces destroy a bridge in southern Lebanon, marking the first "admission" of targeting civilian infrastructure in this round of attacks
【Global Times Reported by Reporter Jiang Ailing】According to AFP, Qatar’s Al Jazeera, and other foreign media, the Israeli military destroyed a bridge in southern Lebanon on the 13th local time and distributed leaflets over Beirut, warning Lebanon that it will face destruction on par with Gaza.

According to the Israeli military, this bridge is “an important passage for Hezbollah from northern Lebanon to the south,” intended to “accumulate strength and prepare for battle.” However, Israel has not provided any evidence to support this claim.
Al Jazeera reports that this is the first time since the current offensive began that Israel has publicly acknowledged targeting civilian infrastructure.
On February 28, the US and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, and Iran responded by attacking Israeli and US military bases in the Middle East. As Iran’s main regional ally, Hezbollah in Lebanon began firing rockets at northern Israel on the evening of the 30th, while Israel launched intense airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as Beirut, and conducted small-scale ground operations in southern Lebanon.
