Nintendo Cuts Switch 2 Game Console Production by Over 30%

On March 24, Nintendo significantly reduced the production of the Switch 2 console due to last year’s holiday season sales falling short of expectations, especially with weak performance in the U.S. market. Nintendo plans to produce 4 million units of this flagship product this quarter, about one-third less than the originally planned 6 million units. The reduction is expected to continue through April.
