General Mills is relaunching the beloved La Tiara taco shells, a Kansas City brand with a cult following, making them available nationally for the first time exclusively at Walmart starting in April. The decision was influenced by strong fan demand, including a Facebook group with over 20,000 members. This relaunch will also bring back over 100 jobs to the Kansas City area with the reopening of the brand’s Gladstone facility.
