Project Eleven rewards 1 Bitcoin to the developer who cracks the 15-digit elliptic curve key

Golden Finance reports that on April 25th, Project Eleven rewarded 1 Bitcoin to the developer who used Shor’s algorithm to crack a 15-bit elliptic curve key on publicly available quantum hardware. Compared to previous public demonstrations, this cracking success rate increased by 512 times, highlighting the growing risk faced by digital assets protected by elliptic curve keys worth $2.5 trillion (such as Bitcoin and Ethereum).
