Victory for Goats! Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and TJX Ditch Mohair After PETA Push

Macy’s Inc., which includes Bloomingdale’s, and TJX Companies (parent of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods) have announced they will no longer sell mohair products. This decision follows a PETA exposé revealing severe animal cruelty in the mohair industry, with goats being brutalized and left with injuries. PETA is sending goat-shaped vegan chocolates to the companies in thanks and is urging other retailers, including H&M, to follow suit.
