Our country's first million-cubic-meter salt cavern hydrogen storage project is put into operation in Pingdingshan, Henan.

On April 25th, China’s first million-cubic-meter salt cavern hydrogen storage demonstration project was officially put into operation in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, marking China’s hydrogen energy “production—storage—transport—use” entering a new stage of industrialization. Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Yang Chunhe stated at the commissioning ceremony held that day that the million-cubic-meter salt cavern hydrogen storage demonstration project fills a gap in China’s large-scale salt cavern hydrogen storage technology, achieving a breakthrough from zero to one in this field.
