US Soldier Charged Over $400K Polymarket Trades Tied to Maduro Arrest Bet

U.S. Army Special Forces Command Sergeant Major Gannon Van Dyke was charged with illegally profiting more than $400,000 on Polymarket. Prosecutors allege Gannon Van Dyke used classified military intelligence to speculate on the arrest incident of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Polymarket said it reported the suspicious trading to law enforcement and cooperated with the investigation.
