Jane Street Seeks Dismissal of Terraform Estate Lawsuit Over UST-LUNA Crash

Jane Street asked a U.S. court to dismiss Terraform Labs’ bankruptcy estate lawsuit over the 2022 UST-LUNA collapse, which erased roughly $40 billion in value within days. The firm filed two motions Thursday in the Southern District of New York and asked for dismissal with prejudice. Terraform’s estate alleges Jane Street used insider information to trade around Curve liquidity withdrawals before TerraUSD lost its dollar peg.
