American fighter pilots may be captured by Iranian military forces
The reporter from the main station learned on the afternoon of the 3rd local time that, according to Iranian sources, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps shot down an advanced American fighter jet earlier that day. The pilot of the aircraft parachuted and landed within Iran, and there are reports indicating that the pilot “may” have been captured by the Iranian military. Additionally, information shows that the U.S. side also believes the pilot is still alive and has attempted to rescue him from within Iran.
