Since its launch in 2025, the US spot XRP ETF has attracted $1.44 billion in inflows, but due to a 43% decline in XRP price, asset values have contracted, with total assets under management falling from $1.65 billion to $1 billion. Major asset management companies such as BlackRock have not yet submitted applications for XRP ETFs, stating that at least $3 billion in demand is needed to launch relevant projects. The pending CLARITY Act is expected to unleash anticipated inflows of $4 billion to $8 billion.

Roger Beston from Franklin Templeton emphasized that institutional adoption of digital assets like XRP will accelerate when enterprises leverage blockchain networks to solve real business problems. He pointed out that commodity classifications from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) provide clear guidance for traditional custodial institutions. He warned that the private credit market, valued at 21 trillion dollars, is currently facing pressure with default rates as high as 9.2%, which could delay cryptocurrency investments as investors seek safe-haven assets. He stressed that digital assets must demonstrate lower correlation to attract capital.
