Gate News bot reports that The Blockchain Group, a Bitcoin asset management company listed in Paris, (ALTBG), has spent 17 million euros (approximately 19.6 million dollars) to acquire 182 Bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 1,653 Bitcoins, valued at nearly 149 million euros (171 million dollars). Prior to this acquisition, the company issued a series of Convertible Bonds totaling over 18 million euros, subscribed by UTXO Management, Moonlight Capital, Ludovic Chechin-Laurans, and asset management company TOBAM. The company also converted warrants into nearly 3 million shares of common stock, raising 1.6 million euros to purchase Bitcoins.

Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon said weak consumer spending calls into question his expectations that the U.S. economy will avoid a recession. Speaking at a UBS conference on Tuesday, Solomon said the world was preparing for a soft landing, but he was personally a little unsure about it. The person in charge of the enterprise told him that while prices were still high, the consumption of the "moonlight family" had become tight. "I think the status quo is pretty good, it's just that the uncertainty in the economy is higher than the market expects," he said.
