[ZachXBT: CEX Data Breach Hacker’s On-Chain Provocation, Suspected Money Laundering of $42.5 Million] According to ZachXBT, the hacker suspected of stealing CEX user data exchanged about $42.5 million BTC for ETH via Thorchain and left a message on-chain with a Youtube video link, the video content being a short clip of a Black man smoking. Previously, hackers obtained nearly 97,000 user information by bribing customer service. The CEX refused to pay the $20 million ransom and offered a reward to investigate their identity.
