How to judge whether a person will achieve great success? First, does he possess the ability to delay gratification, willing to restrain immediate desires for longer-term returns; second, when facing opposing opinions, does he instinctively defend himself, or does he maintain curiosity and willingness to correct his cognition; third, can he deconstruct and analyze complex emotions and problems, rather than simply labeling them and getting caught in right-or-wrong disputes; finally, does he understand leveraging and symbiosis, let go of self-centeredness, and actively collaborate with more excellent people to amplify his abilities. When a person can manage desires, update cognition, understand complexity, and is skilled at synergizing with others, even with an ordinary starting point, it is difficult for such a person to remain mediocre in the long term.
