The SEC has appointed Katherine Reilly as the new acting inspector general.

Gate News bot message, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced the appointment of Katherine Reilly to succeed the retired Deborah Jeffrey as the acting Inspector General of the SEC.

Reilly joined the SEC Office of the Inspector General in 2020, previously serving at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General, and the Department of Justice, focusing on legal and oversight work. Reilly holds a law degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
