Abstract generation in progress

On June 25, Jin10 reported that UK Prime Minister Starmer announced a new round of military aid to Ukraine, funded by the interest generated from frozen Russian assets. The government will use £70 million in interest through the “Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration Plan” (ERA) to provide Ukraine with 350 domestically manufactured advanced air defense missiles that have been modified for ground launch at record speed. This move marks the first time the UK has used funds associated with Russia to directly provide weaponry to Kyiv. This batch of missiles will be deployed through the “Raven” air defense system provided by the UK—an additional five systems are on their way to Ukraine, bringing the total number of deployed systems to 13.
