NATO has committed to increase spending as requested by Trump and achieve collective defense.

Gate News bot reports that, according to Reuters, NATO leaders on Wednesday supported U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for a significant increase in defense spending after a brief summit in the Netherlands, and reaffirmed their commitment to mutual defense against attacks.

Although Trump got what he wanted and something tailored for him at this year’s annual meeting, his NATO allies will be reassured because he promised to adhere to the fundamental principle of collective defense after making less clear statements on Tuesday.
