Action Plan for Building a Closer China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future in the New Era (2025-2029) between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Jin10 Data reported on September 4th that the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have released an action plan for building a closer China-Pakistan community of shared future in the new era (2025-2029). Both sides reiterated the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as a pillar of China-Pakistan economic cooperation and a pilot project for jointly building the “Belt and Road” initiative, and expressed their determination to fully plan a strategic roadmap. They will deepen the strategic alignment of the five major corridors of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the eight actions supported by China for high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road” with the “Flying Pakistan” plan centered on the “5Es” development framework. Both sides emphasized that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will continue to make important contributions to the high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road”. They agreed to strengthen the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative with Pakistan's “5Es” development framework, coordinate major landmark projects with “small and beautiful” livelihood projects, and balance high-quality development with high-level security.
