The U.S. court temporarily allows the government to "federalize" the Oregon National Guard.

Jin10 reported on October 9 that on October 8 local time, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily lifted the injunction preventing the Trump administration from "federalizing" the Oregon National Guard, but upheld the order prohibiting the actual deployment of troops. The panel of judges stated that this temporary decision "aims to maintain the status quo," meaning that "although the National Guard members have been federalized, they have not yet been deployed."
