Goldman Sachs expects India and Australia to cut interest rates for the first time in the third quarter of next year

The latest research report from Goldman Sachs believes that the US dollar has weakened in recent weeks as long-term interest rates in the United States have been sharply lowered, and the Federal Reserve is ready to start cutting the funds rate relatively early in 2024, while many central banks in the Asia-Pacific region will be able to ease policy "earlier than previously expected". Brought forward the timing of the first rate cut in Indonesia to the second quarter of next year, and the first rate cut in India, Australia and New Zealand to the third quarter.
