Abstract generation in progress

On June 21st, Paradigm released the REVM compiler Revmc. Paradigm stated that it recently released the high-performance roadmap for Reth, calling for the more widespread use of “Gas per Second” as a performance metric for EVM blockchains, and detailed plans to extend the blockchain to 1GB per second or more, which is 1,000 times higher than the current state of Ethereum. Paradigm will open source Revmc, which is a compiler for reducing EVM bytecode to native code, demonstrating improvements from 1.85x to 19x in various actual EVM benchmarks, and has integrated Revmc in Reth and successfully synchronized the chain. Next, Revmc will be integrated in OP Reth for L2 use, and its improvements will come into play in computationally heavy workloads.
