Jinse Caijing reported that Scroll announced the implementation of the Curie upgrade on July 3, introducing Data Availability (DA) compression to reduce the size of Layer1 DA and its associated Gas fees. It also includes two types of transactions: EIP-1559 and EIP-2930, as well as a basic fee model to stabilize Scroll's Gas fees. Scroll stated that this upgrade will halve the Gas fees on the Scroll chain.
