Bank of America: Bank of England may be cautious about interest rate cuts

According to a report by Golden Finance, analysts at Bank of America predict that the Central Bank of the United Kingdom will remain cautious in terms of interest rate cuts, with only one more cut expected in November this year, followed by four cuts in 2025 and then a cut in 2026. They said, 'Strong rises above trend and persistent inflation risks suggest that the loose cycle will proceed slowly.' Bank of America expects the UK economy to rise 1.1% in 2024, higher than the previous prediction of 0.8%. 'Rises may be supported by a weakening impact of actual income recovery and interest rate hikes.'
