Analyst: The European Central Bank will cautiously cut interest rates

On September 5th, Gold Ten Data reported that Metzler analysts Leon Ferdinand Bost and Eugen Kelle stated in a report that the European Central Bank will cautiously cut interest rates because it is still concerned about the high inflation rate in the service industry and the high rise in wages. They also stated that ‘the second reason for expecting a cautious attitude is that a significant interest rate cut is not the style of the European Central Bank, at least not outside of emergencies.’ Metzler expects the European Central Bank to cut interest rates by 50 basis points for the rest of the year after cutting interest rates by 25 basis points for the first time in June.
