BlockBeats news, on September 5th, Justin Drake, core researcher of the Ethereum Foundation, responded to the question “How long will the Foundation’s funds last?” during the 12th AMA of the Ethereum Foundation, stating, “The financial report of the Ethereum Foundation should be released soon. Currently, the Foundation has an annual budget of approximately 100 million US dollars (mainly composed of grants and salaries, with some grant recipients only able to accept legal currency). At the current price, the main Ethereum wallet of the Ethereum Foundation holds ETH worth approximately 650 million US dollars. Previously, due to regulatory reasons, selling was temporarily suspended, so reserve funds were only recently replenished. Roughly estimated, the Foundation’s reserve funds can cover a 10-year budget, but the amount of reserve funds is greatly affected by the fluctuation of ETH prices.”
