A South Korean man in Hong Kong suspected of encountering Cryptocurrency fraud, paid 700,000 Hong Kong dollars but did not receive USDT.

Jinse Finance reported that a South Korean man allegedly purchased USDT for 700,000 Hong Kong dollars through a middleman yesterday (October 25th). However, he did not receive the Cryptocurrency when he went to the exchange store, suspected of being deceived. The Hong Kong police are investigating the case and have classified it as “obtaining property by deception.” It is understood that the exchange store claimed to have paid the Cryptocurrency involved in this case through a third party.
