The schedule of the extraordinary session of the Japanese Diet has been determined, and a new prime minister will be elected.

On November 5th, the Nikkei News reported that on the morning of the 5th, local time, Yoshihide Suga, Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, stated at a meeting of the ruling and opposition parties in the House of Representatives that the special session of the Diet will begin on November 11th, when multiple important positions including the new Prime Minister will be selected. The special session of the Diet is expected to last for 4 days until November 14th. It is reported that on the first day of the special session on November 11th, there will be a prime ministerial nomination election, and the possibility of the incumbent Prime Minister, Shigeru Ishiba, being re-elected is very high.
