According to DappRadar's recent '2024 Dapp Industry Report', Non-fungible Token volume is expected to decrease by 19% to $13.7 billion in 2024, compared to 2023, while sales will fall by 18% to just under 50 million, making it one of the worst performing years since 2020. DappRadar added that the Non-fungible Token market has seen significant fluctuations, with volume in the first quarter of 2023 increasing by 4% to $53 billion. However, the momentum is short-lived, as the volume dropped to $15 billion in the third quarter and rebounded to $26 billion in the fourth quarter. In addition, Non-fungible Tokens had the best year ever in 2022, when they first entered the mainstream, with a volume of 57.2 billion US dollars and a total of 121.7 million transactions.
