Golden Finance reported that the research team of BTQ, a startup company dedicated to building Block chain technology that can resist Quantum Computer attacks, recently published a journal article proposing an alternative to Proof of Work (PoW) Algorithm involving quantum technology, called Coarse-Grained Boson Sampling (CGBS). This method uses light particles (bosons) to generate unique patterns (samples) that reflect the current state of the Blockchain, rather than math problems based on hash.
It is reported that this method replaces the traditional PoW encryption problem with quantum sampling tasks, significantly reducing energy consumption while ensuring network security and decentralization.
