Odaily Star Daily News According to a statement on January 28, legislators in Kentucky and South Dakota are preparing to propose legislation to establish BTC reserves in the coming weeks. South Dakota State Representative Logan Manhart announced that he will introduce a bill in the South Dakota House of Representatives to establish a strategic BTC reserve. He added that this is one of the “few opportunities” for the government to take proactive action. Meanwhile, Kentucky Representative TJ Roberts said he will introduce similar legislation in the first week back to the General Assembly. It is understood that Wyoming and Massachusetts are the two most recent states to introduce BTC-related legislation since December 2024 among the eight states.
