South Korea's ruling party: will accept the verdict of Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment case

On March 17, South Korea’s Constitutional Court is expected to rule on President Yoon Suk-yeol’s impeachment case in the near future. The whip of South Korea’s ruling People’s Power Party said on March 16 that the party would accept the verdict regardless of the verdict and urged the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, to do the same. The whip of the People’s Power Party, the representative of the House of Representatives, held a press conference in the Diet on the 16th to discuss topics related to the presidential impeachment case. “The official position of our party is to accept the verdict of the Constitutional Court,” he said. According to him, the judgment of the Constitutional Court of South Korea is final, and once the result is released, it will be binding on everyone.
