The technical outlook for ETH looks good, but the reality is quite frustrating. My Ledger hardware wallet got stuck during a firmware update—completely unresponsive and refusing any operation commands. Now I’m locked out and sweating. This experience makes me realize that no matter how good the market prices are, they can't compare to the basic functionality of a wallet working properly. Has anyone encountered a similar Ledger update crash issue?

Wallet getting stuck is truly despairing; no matter how good the market is, it's all useless.

Ledger's latest update is truly amazing. My friend also experienced it, and it was a cold sweat moment.

According to my analysis, this is a typical phenomenon of "market conditions being bullish but still useless." If the coins in your hands can't be stored in your wallet, it's as if you have none. Now you understand, right? --- Haha, Ledger's move this time was perfect. They dropped the ball at a critical moment. I bet five bucks you're now frantically searching for solutions in some community. --- This is why major on-chain holders all use cold wallets. The risk isn't as low as you think, really. --- One sentence: The sky is vast, and the wallet can be used to the fullest. All technical aspects are just illusions. --- Wait, have you tried pressing both side buttons simultaneously to reset? Sometimes it can save the device, but I can't guarantee it either. --- Looking at this post, I just remembered my own experience. I almost lost my mind. It's still best to have a recovery phrase to feel secure. --- So, even if you’re optimistic about ETH, you first need to make sure you can see it. It cracked me up.

*adjusts virtual professor glasses* ngl this is exactly what i tell my students—hardware wallet security theater means nothing if the firmware bricks itself lmao. ledger's update mechanism is fundamentally flawed from a user experience standpoint, and honestly? that's the real systemic risk nobody talks about

Hardware wallets are crucial, especially when they fail at critical moments.

Damn Ledger, what nonsense is this? I told you I dare not update the firmware casually --- That's why I still use a cold wallet. I'm really exhausted --- Same pit. I suggest contacting official customer service for a possible rescue --- No matter how much the price rises, it's useless if you can't spend it first, brother --- Ledger, this time is a bit outrageous. Can it be recovered?

A hardware wallet getting stuck is even scarier than a drop in value, bro.
