Odaily Planet Daily News, Marina Markezic, co-founder of the European Encryption Initiative (EUCI), said that MiCA could accelerate the institutionalization and integration of the European encryption market, promote mergers and acquisitions between TradFi and native encryption companies, and may lead to the withdrawal of some companies or products from the market. Although MiCA largely excludes decentralized finance from direct regulation, its interfaces or service access points may face additional regulations from member states, and this uncertainty may cause friction.
